Coleraine Youth Rugby: The local home of Youth Rugby

Welcome to Coleraine Youth Rugby, the Causeway Coast club for aspiring international rugby giants.....  

 

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, our club aims to help you reach your rugby goals and to develop your love of the sport.

 

ALWAYS LOOKING FOR NEW PLAYERS: Training Wednesday nights at 7pm at our rugby pitches and matches Saturday mornings. Under 13, 15, 17 and 19 teams, all levels of expierence and ability welcome!

 

Conveniently located in the heart of Coleraine, Coleraine Youth Rugby provides progressive development of youth players through four age based youth teams.  Close links with mini rugby and the senior section provide club members with the opportunity for lifelong skills and fitness development as well as a wider involvment involvment in the sport.


What we do

Our coaches work within the established coaching processes using time tested drills and activites to develop the players from beginners where the focus is on learning and enjoying the game, through learning skills and how to to train effectivly and finally on to focusing on building strong personal skills and understanding of the game.

 

The youth section welcomes new players at all levels and our coaches aim to build new players skills and ability within the relevant age group squad until they are able to participate fully.

Club Facilities

The club has excellent facilities and range of training equipment.  

 

Renovations to the club buildings were completed at the start of the 2009-10 season. Including totally rebuilding of the changing facilties with the addition of a fitness suite and weights room and an upgraded kitchen and function room within the old club house.

 

The all teams within the Youth section have access to quality training equipment including tackle bags, mauling bags and acscrumaging machine.

 

The section also has access to a total of five playing fields for fixtures and training.
